Just having a project manager engaged does not dictate that the project is, or will be performing as expected, or that the outcomes will meet the customer requirements. Independent reviews of project progress are used by large organisations all the time, so why not for small to medium ones?
This half-day workshop will review key deliverables from your project, including initiation, business case, risks, planning, control and quality. After the half-day, a report will be provided to the project sponsor detailing the current progress, areas of possible risk and recommendations on how they could be addressed. Access to your key project team members and documentation is required.
It is not a training course, nor a traditional hands-on workshop; instead we will complete an assurance review of your project. The exact composition of the half-day will depend on where your project is within the project life cycle; this review can be conducted several times at different points during your project.
Typical activities during our half-day:
- Project overview
- Business case
- Organisation structure
- Risk management
- Project controls
- Change management
- Project quality
- Transition to business as usual planning
